New VP Marketing at M3 Technology Group To Lead Brand Extension

M3 Technology Group (M3TG), a company that offers customized professional and managed services for messaging platforms, announced the hire of Rick Oppedisano as VP of Marketing.

In a press release, Michael Byrnes CEO of M3TG stated “Rick has demonstrated a history of developing focused messages and identifying growth markets, as well as creating excitement and loyalty in the customer base” he added “His leadership and creative ideas are welcomed assets that will further enhance the success of our company.”

The task ahead of him will include customized e-mail migration solutions, managed messaging and mobility solutions.  He will also be responsible for future business development and customizing the current offerings to fit in with the needs of new clients.

A former advertising executive and partner with regional marketing firm Asterisk Creative, Oppedisano was featured on PBS’ American Entrepreneur and received recognition as a finalist for the Charlotte Chamber’s 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year award. Oppedisano also held brand strategy and development roles at Bank of America, IBM, Bayer and Nortel Networks.  Oppedisano’s research and articles on brand building and strategy have been published more than 40 times internationally. 

The expansion shows a growth in MT3G’s extensive customer base after receiving additional funding in the 4th quarter 2007.
