Kameleon, a French based company specializing in mobile marketing were exhibiting at Ad Tech Paris 2008. Fabien Beckers, the CEO of Kameleon spoke with AdMarkTech and gave his view of Bluetooth proximity marketing and how it engages and interacts with shoppers.
Below is the video interview that Fabien gave to AdMarkTech. Fabien spoke of the fine line between offering a valued service and being intrusive when running Bluetooth proximity marketing campaigns.
However, it is clear that in order to fully benefit from Bluetooth advertising, whether in a mall, an airport or even in the street, there must be a combination of digital signage giving clear instruction how to setup the mobile device, together with the actual campaign messaging.
